Refund Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026
This policy explains when you can get a refund from Think Faster Languages, provided by Think Faster Languages Ltd. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and does not affect your statutory rights under the law of England and Wales.
In short: everyone can try the app free first, so subscriptions are not refundable - you simply cancel when you want, and one-off course purchases come with a 7-day refund window. The detail is below.
Free trial
Where a free trial is offered, it runs for 7 daysand opens everything a Plus subscription unlocks - every language, every level and every module - together with one AI-generated lesson. No card is needed, you are not charged, and it does not turn into a paid subscription on its own. When you’re ready to carry on, you choose a plan.
Subscriptions (Standard and Plus) - cancellation, not refund
Because you can try the app free first, subscription payments are not refundable. You can cancel at any time: when you cancel you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and you are not charged again after that. We don’t refund the current or past periods once they’ve started, except where the law requires it or where the service was faulty or not as described.
One-off purchases (a level, a full course, or a bundle) - 7-day refund
If you buy a level, a full course or a bundle and change your mind, you can ask for a refund within 7 daysof the purchase, and we’ll refund it. To keep this fair, we may decline a refund where the content has been substantially completed or downloaded, or where the 7 days have passed. Faulty or not-as-described content is always covered by your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, regardless of the 7 days.
Gift coupons
Gift coupons are non-refundable once purchased. They do not expire and are for one-time use. If a coupon has not been redeemed and there was a genuine error (for example a duplicate purchase), contact us and we’ll try to help.
Purchases made in the phone apps
Subscriptions and purchases bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google, so their refund policies apply and refunds are requested through them, not us. We can still help point you in the right direction.
